Participant Testimonials

I truly enjoyed the Embracing Conflict training, and feel like it could assist people at multiple levels in their careers. The Conflict Continuum was very telling for me. I liked how it showed where we need to be to be successful, while also giving us an idea of when we need to go back or forth on it, and how to get back to center. We have all run into people in our career that have no idea where center is, and this is a great tool for our own understanding, and also to work with others.

Angie Kerrick
Director of Learning & Development, Goodwill Industries of Kentucky

Don did a masterful job with explaining some sound principles on how to handle conflict. The awakening for me was the reminder that as a leader I control me not them. I also walked away with some sound tactics on how to handle triggers and move from the triggers to facts not feelings, because everything is not about YOU!

Derron Rowan
Senior Manager at Superior Manufacturing Corporation

I thought Don was a great teacher; his energy and passion for the work were clear and made it easy to pay attention. I also enjoyed learning about the scale of conflict, and the perspective that it’s not necessarily a bad thing and can lead to creative ideas and innovation.

Project Manager, Office of Planning, Louisville Metro Government
